The following people are responsible for the management of the organisation:
Simon Field recently completed a Masters in Transport Planning and Policy at Newcastle University, England. His research project examined the use of economic instruments and personal carbon allowances to reduce carbon emissions from transport. He is actively involved in the development of a Carfree Area Pilot Project, and is a founding member and treasurer of the British research and lobbying group Carfree UK. Simon is one of the organisers of the Towards Carfree Cities conference coming to York, England in 2010.

Markus Heller works as freelance architect in Berlin, Germany. In recent years he has worked as project director of the "Carfree Quarter at the Panke" in Berlin-Mitte. From 1995-2001 he was an independent consultant for the Green Party in the parliamentary council of the district Berlin-Mitte for "City Development, Building and Transportation." From 1997-1999 he worked as developer and controller for new trade projects of "METRO AG" in Poland. Markus sat on the Steering Committee for three years from 2004 to 2007.
Markus is also the head of both World Carfree Network member
organisations Autofrei Wohnen & autofrei leben! e.V. In 2004 he was a coordinator of the Towards Carfree Cities IV conference in Berlin.

Daniel Mourek works for environmental foundation Nadace Partnerstvi in Prague. He is a regional coordinator of the greenway program in Central and Eastern Europe under umbrella of the Environmental Partnership for Sustainable Development, a consortium of 6 environmental foundations in CEE. He is also Treasurer and member of the managing committee of the European Greenway Asociation and active member of the Prague Bicycle Forum. He helped as volunteer with organization of TCC III in Prague 2003.
