I made a proposal last week regarding SC members signing letters as representatives of the WCN, but I did not give a date for final input on this proposal. Today, I am sending the proposal again (somewhat ammended) with May 7th as the proposed dead-line for making our formal and final decision. If you already expressed support for this proposal and say nothing before May 7th, I will assume you still agree. If you disagree with, or would like to make an ammendment to the proposal below, please do so before May 7th.

Formal proposal to the SC regarding SC members writing letters as representatives of the WCN:

SC members can write letters on behalf of the WCN when the goals of the letter further the mission of the WCN. When time allows, SC members are encouraged to send a preview copy to the SC-list before sending such letters, but preapproval is not required. A copy of the letter should always be forwarded to the rest of the SC for evaluation.

Expressed approval with suggested ammendments: - Ton (I tried to include Ton's ammendments in new proposal.) - Milan - I wasn't sure how to include your suggestion: "Only in cases of some important issues which have to be considered by the major of votes from SC it should have to be approved." Can you think of an example?
