1. EVS

• Possibility for new EVS volunteer in January (Kamila)

DECISION: Dependent on quality of applications everyone approves of the idea.

2. Magazine Price

• USD/Euro Prices don't reflect exchange rate and need to be increased/decreased. Postage prices will increase in 2008.
• USD from 4 to 5 for one issue. 16 to 18 for one year. 26 to 32 for two years
• Euro. single issue remains the same. 16 to 14 for one year. 26 to 24 for two years
• These changes will come into effect for the next issue, CB 32
• Communication with distributors is still necessary before we proceed with the changes (Kamlia)

DECISION: Price increase/decrease approved. Kamila will communicate with distributors with answer October 26th. Bas will update website, magazine when magazine is sent. Announcement will be made in the magazine.

3. Job Descriptions

• Deadline for job descriptions postponed until wed 24th (Christi)

DECISION: Oct, Wed 24th morning everyone should send job descriptions to each other for review. Justin and Bas will write one for EVS interns

4. Network Priorities Meeting

• Christi has listed all network priorities and needs to meet with Kamila and Justin to discuss responsibility and implementation of priorities.

DECISION: Meeting for Monday 19th November

5. Foundation Partnership Grant

• Grant is good for any project involving local groups or organisations. Valued at up to 7000 euros. Co-financing is preferable, vysehrad already has co-financing. Application for vysehrad project with extra projects involving film night and car free day 2008 proposed rather than individual proposal for film festival (Kamila)
• Deadline for application Oct Friday 19th

DECISION: Kamila will complete the application as proposed above.

6. Jihlava Film Festival

• Who will go?

DECISION: Sam will go from Thursday for the weekend. Others will join dependent on work load.

7. Members Section

• Member login password sent to all new members. Is this a good idea for security purposes? (bas)
• 2-levels of security proposed, or different login.

DECISION: Not urgent priority. Decision will be delayed until December. Until then member login password will be withheld unless specifically asked for.

8. Link Exchange

• City-bikes (Prague based) offered to advertise links to WCN in return for city-bikes link on WCN sites
• WCN site has links section and green-pages.

DECISON: Green pages and links section are possible, but only a temporary banner or article on the homepage until website update.
