• Web training on Friday at 11am
• World Carfree Network Europe o.s. has been made official. We have new statutes. The full name (including 'o.s.' should be used in all offical applications, documents, etc.). Registered in the Czech Republic (o.s. = "obcanske sdruzeni" - "civic association")
• EC grants. Still no info on Youth or Environment administrative grants.
• Roeland is completing Biketour application right now. (Due today)
• Training seminar - looks like Christi is not going
• Roeland: seminar in Georgia (7-12 Sept.), organised by Falkor.

AGENDA 1 Introducing Christi Christi Brooks is our new grant writer. She has been in the Czech Republic since the summer after finishing a degree in "Global Leadership and Management". She will be working part-time alongside Arie Farnam while Arie introduces her to how we work. For the first six months she will be at the office, after that she may work partially from home, but that will be decided later.

2 International Day of Action against Climate Change We will be partner with Greenpeace CZ on a direct action protest. WCN volunteers will participate.

3 Mobycon grant STEER grant through Intelligent Energy Europe. Focused on carfree communities. How will funding work, what are our tasks (Randy's tasks)? - There will be two meetings (2007 in Istanbul and 2008) - We will do outreach. Updates in monthly bulletins, articles in each magazine, website specific to the project. - There is money for staff time, for domain registration, web hosting, travel for 2 people to the two meetings, 7% admin costs - Total amount of work that is paid by the grant is 10 person-months over the two years - We will find out in March if we get the grant

4 Joao We need Joao to come back for a while.

5 Randy's work schedule Randy is moving out of Prague and wants to rearrange work schedule. He would come to Prague Mon-Wed and work at home on the other days.

6 Attic office We can't move to the attic because we can't pay 5 years of rent in advance. Randy suggests hitting someone up for a loan, but first we need to find out how big the space is and how much light there would be.

7 ICC steering committee and management committee SC: Randy, Steven and Kamila will decide which of them wants to replace Steve. MC: official administrative 'leadership'. This will be the three signatories (Randy, Kamila, Radka)

8 Big meeting on Nov. 15. Where: Arie's house When: meet at Strasnice train stop at 8:30

9 Clean-up day and clean-up tasks Steven will be cleanup "motivator" to tell everyone to do the weekly cleaning. Cleaning time is 2-3pm on Wed before each meeting.
