• Arie wrote a grant application to the Oak foundation for Visegrad Mobile Sustainable Transport Resource Centre
• There is a bike tour this meeting in Studeny, Czech Republic, with 11 people confirmed coming

1. Autoholics Anonymous (logo) & British Funders

• AA has some money, but it needs more (even a staff person in the UK)
• Arie has found possible funders, but they need a British charity to go through in order for us to get the money
• This staff person would operate the project, do outreach, and be a press spokesperson
• Anna Semylen could be that staff person
• We already have a timeline from Network for Social Change grant
• By May, much of the project should be up and running
• Should Arie be applying for grants for this? Do we have the capacity to handle it?
• Then money we have now is just the basics to set it up
• Arie needs more details in terms of what we need the funding for and for how much

2. Associate Member of Municipalites for Sustainable Development (ICLEI)?

• Should we become an associate member who are not municipalities
• Why? They provide information about grants to members, good networking possibility
• It would cost US$200 or 350/per year depending on Czech's gross national income
• we could put in a general query on the listserve to see if members have had experiences with it
• Randy suggests contacting Jason (who used to work at ICLEI)
• The steering committee will propose at the AGM that they are responsible for deciding which organisations WCN joins/endorses

3. Telephone and Internet

• We are currently spending 800kc/month to have separate fax line which is not used much
• We will have fax with telephone line
• Internet currently costs 1600kc/month
• We can get DSL internet at a good speed for 800kc/month
• Everyone agrees on these above decisions

4. Strategic Plan

• What is the progress on it?
• Arie hopes that it can be reviewed and be ready for Tabor in May
• Randy says it is complex but will be done
